The Kamloops Festival of the Performing Arts is a Kamloops non-profit charitable society registered provincially and federally. The KFPA Festival 2024 is the 91st festival by this organization started in 1930 with the 1st festival in 1931. There are 11 performing arts disciplines offered through registration November 10th to December 10th annually. The festival is over 3-weeks just prior to SD73 springbreak each year at local church venues and the Sagebrush Theatre for the dance discipline as well as the finale Honours Concert. Numerous alumni from all careers are still in Kamloops along with numerous professional performing arts alumni currently travelling the world with their entertainment skills.
