W 1005 Holdings Ltd can trace its roots back to March 1991 when franchise owner Jerry Quigley, together with daughter Joanne, first opened the doors of The Equity Centre in Kamloops, B.C.
The Equity Centre later changed its name to The Mortgage Centre. With much work and dedication to assisting clients obtain the best mortgage for THEM, not for the BANK, they quickly became one of the largest sources of mortgage funds in the Kamloops marketplace. They became well known for providing quality service and product solutions for their client’s mortgage financing needs.
Along the way it became apparent there was a strong need for private mortgage funds, especially in smaller centers. Building on our already established foundation of trust, we decided to help fill the void by establishing W1005 Holdings Ltd, as well as Thompson Valley Mortgage Corp. We later assumed responsibility for Nicola Mortgage Corp, and Western Provincial Investment Group Corporation, which had been in operation since 1979.
A source for private funds for residential mortgage loans in British Columbia and Alberta, W1005 has become one of the most respected private fund lenders in Western Canada, known for it’s fair dealings with all its clients and its reasonable fees, especially at renewal time.
