Joseph is a Partner and National Leader, Clients & Markets, Forensic Technology and Cyber Response, responsible for Cyber Security Incident Response, eDiscovery, Forensic Services, and investigative support. Joseph has over 25 years of forensic and investigative experience.

Prior to KPMG, Joseph was Managing Director in charge of Duff & Phelps Global eDiscovery, Forensic Technology and Cyber Security practice overseeing forensic labs in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K.
Prior to Duff & Phelps, Joseph was President and co-founder of Harvester Forensics Ltd., a Vice President at KPMG, and is a 16 year veteran police officer from the Peel Regional Police having spent nearly five years in Peel’s Technological Crimes Unit.
Joseph has testified at all levels of court proceedings and has been qualified as an expert witness on a number of occasions in both criminal and civil matters. Joseph has worked on a number of high profile cases, and was profiled as an expert in a documentary about a particular homicide on which he investigated and testified.
Outside Duff & Phelps, Joseph has taught and developed Data Forensic, eDiscovery, cyber and investigative courses and lectures at the University, College and professional levels. Joseph has instructed Crown Attorneys and civil litigators on technological evidence on a number of occasions, and has presented to the Ontario Crown Attorney’s Association on computer forensics.
