About Us

Second Pass Forestry Ltd. (SPF) is a First Nation owned, natural resource consulting company specializing in innovative high-quality natural resource management, multi-phase timber development and capacity building within First Nations communities. We believe in that innovation is important and explore testing new technology that challenges the status quo. For that reason, SPF Ltd. was recognized in 2018 for “Outstanding Business Achievement” by the BC Indigenous Business Awards. SPF consists of four Registered Professional Foresters (RPF), one Registered Forest Technologist (RFT) and a first nation employee that is specializing in relationship building and referral coordination for our clients. Darcy and Tanner Lebourdais are Whispering Pines/Clinton Indian Band (WPCIB) members and have been actively working with the band for over 9 years. Currently they use their Professional expertise to run the Natural Resource and Referral department for the band which involves meeting with First Nations leaders and government, communication with industry, wildfire mitigation and project management.
