About Us
The Thompson Region Division of Family Practice is a community of primary care providers (family physicians, midwives, and nurse practitioners) who collaborate with one another and community partners to improve patient care and family medicine in our community.
Organizationally, the Division undertakes various projects and programs to address specific areas of patient care and support specific patient populations. We lead family physician recruitment for Kamloops and support our existing doctors to practice more efficiently.
The Divisions of Family Practice initiative is funded by the Family Practice Service Committee (FPSC), ?one of four joint committees ?that represent a partnership of the provincial government and Doctors of BC.
